Convince me.

Every once in awhile I sit around my apartment, sip a cup of hot tea, and try and think of places that I have no desire to visit. When I start thinking of places that I want to go, the list is obviously endless so it’s often easier to narrow down my search by places that I have no desire to explore.

The only place that I can think of at the moment is Bangladesh. As much as that part of the world is packed with culture I just have no desire to see it myself. From what I’ve heard, read, and seen on the place, it is described as the armpit of the world. A foul cesspool of deceases and poverty beyond belief. Of course, if I was doing a volunteer mission this may be one of the first places on my list but being that I am a leisure traveler it doesn’t seem like a good fit for me.

This post was a little difficult for me to write as I never want to offend anyone and their beliefs, experiences, or home country but for me to write a post about all the places I want to go would have been a novel and those posts are too common across travel blogs to begin with.

If you’ve got any experience on the matter, please I encourage you to help me see otherwise, or perhaps there are places that you’ve never wanted to visit yourself. Tell me about it.

Cheers bloggers and remember to always try and look for the best in things no matter where you are in the world.

About mackblack22

I created this blog as an inspirational site for student travelers. I wanted to show people that you can visit all sorts of amazing places if you just know how to plan properly. I am here to help. This blog features my experiences traveling the world and how I did it so that you can get a better idea of where to begin when planning a trip of your own. Questions are always welcome!
